Eddie Cornell served 22 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Gunner in the Combat Arms. He joined the military as a very you man of 18 years old and served in several places within Canada and Europe during his career. He is a recipient of the Medal of Bravery that was earned while on tour in Cyprus in 1987.
Eddie has worn many hats in his life from working in the Auto industry to becoming an Auxiliary Police Officer with the Ontario Provincial Police. He has been standing up for our rights and freedoms for the most beautiful country in the world for a very long time, well before the Pandemic. During the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa he was fortunate to be able to assist the truckers protest behind the scenes and offer a helping hand to the cause.
He is also one of the founding members of Veterans for Freedom ( V4F) . This was a result of the actions taken by many Veterans while in Ottawa who were supporting the Freedom Tucker Convoy. So now along with many fellow Veterans called “Stand To” and are dedicated to preserving the freedom of this country that so many have paid the ultimate sacrifice to preserve . So that Canada will always remain free.
