Guest Speaker: George Douklias (Jabless Jobs) – Winnipeg

George Douklias was let go from his job in August of 2021. His employer was trying to coerce him into taking the Covid jab, but George would not comply.

George had been attending freedom rallies in Vancouver, BC, since April of that year, so he knew there were others in his situation. Despite this, finding a new job, with an employer he could trust, proved difficult, so he created a job board on Telegram called, “Jabless Jobs” and shared it with a few people he’d met at the rallies. Initially, George had only planned on running this job board for a week or two, or until he found himself a new job. But to his surprise, the job board gained immense popularity, and became a beacon of hope for people facing the same problem. What started as a temporary solution for himself, turned into a platform for helping many others.  But, as the job board grew in popularity, he realized that it was not sustainable to run it as a volunteer. He had to either monetize it or quit. Thankfully, with the help of a friend, George was able to incorporate Jabless Jobs and get it off the ground.

Fast-forward two years and George is now the CEO of a growing company that is driven by a socio-economic purpose. Since it started, Jabless Jobs Incorporated has helped over 1,000 Conscious Canadians find employment. Canadians just like George; who value integrity over ideology, and freedom of choice over conformity.

Recently, George and his team have re-launched Jabless Jobs on their new platform called GooseAndMaple.com. It’s a two-part website, with both a job board and a business directory.  So whether you’re looking for a job or want to support a business that shares your values, GooseAndMaple.com is designed to help you find businesses to support and build lasting economic relationships.
